In comparison with the weddings of the earlier age, the weddings in the present time and place are much more commercialized. If you are having the event in a hall or an indoor setting, a lot more energy is also spent on the air conditioning of the place. This will also leave a better impression on those who come to the party, as the setting of the open air is always better than that in a hall.

For the entire perfect planning that you do towards keeping the wastage of food at the least possible, there will invariably be a good amount of food that still remains, food that is as good as wasted. To throw away such a lot of food is nothing less than sinning in its worst way. Give the food away to people who are not as lucky as you are, to those who are less deprived than you are. Pack the food and share it among people who help you out in your everyday life, like cleaners, helpers, security men, etc. There are also a lot many charitable societies and organizations who can look towards the distribution of food amongst the people who do not have their own. There are even people you are helping those who do not come for your wedding in this way.

If you believe yourself to be amongst the better doing or the affluent of society, what you can do, besides having a good wedding, is see that you have a separate meal with the inmates of a senior citizen’s home or with children from an adoption home. This would be so much better than throwing a party for people who are doing well, but you have not met for years, and are as good as unknown acquaintances.
