Radio Corporation of America or RCA Corporation said today that it will be manufacturing LED bulbs as part of larger home theater announcement. The company also stated that it produced chip on a board, which uses single efficient LED light source instead of several smaller ones. Mr. Bob Hatefi, RCA licensee BDC said that this design optimizes energy efficiency of a bulbs. As energy efficient lighting norms take hold in United States and other nations, expect more electronics firms moving deeper into consumer LED lighting. In 2011, Samsung launched a line of snowcone shape A19 bulb and LED spotlamps for sale in America.
Vizio, a television manufacturing company is also planning to work on its line of LED bulbs for America that company states will have Vizio price. Toshiba has started marketing A19 LED bulbs through the website of BestBuy and Panasonic has already started manufacturing LED bulbs for Japan. Dedicated lighting firms will be attending the Consumer Electronics Show of this year. Switch Lighting will be introducing line of LEDs, which is likely to be offered later in 2012. Like thermostat and television, LED bulbs are becoming network ready. Marvell also launched the wireless chip engineered for making commercial LED fixtures controlled from single point.
